I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, but trust me, there is more on the horizon for the blog! It’s just taking some extra time!
Anyway, as part of Operation Get A Summer Body I’ve been including Shakeology into the daily routine. I definitely think that I’m not the biggest fan of the plain shakeo flavor. It’s not completely terrible, but I really enjoy it much more when I doctor it all up!
I’ve definitely got my favorite go-to recipe, but recently I’ve been experimenting with some new recipes! Thank you Pinterest and my fellow challengers in the workout group I’ve been virtually hanging with for the last few months. They’re geniuses I tell you! Anywho, here’s some of my favorites:
1. PB&J
- 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeo
- 2 tablespoons of PB2
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 4-6 ice cubes
2. Banana Peanut Butter
- 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeo
- 2 tablespoons of PB2
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 4-6 ice cubes
3. Orange Creme – (this doesn’t look very appetizing, but trust me it’s good!)
- 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeo
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 4-6 ice cubes
4. Cinnamon Roll
- 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeo
- 1 teaspoon PB2
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 4-6 ice cubes
5. Snickerdoodle
- 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeo
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 tablespoons PB2
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4-6 ice cubes
There you go! A recipe a day! I’m enjoying myself some Snickerdoodle today! If you have any shake favorite recipes, I’d love to hear ’em! Happy Friday!!
I wish I had a blender so I could make tastier shakes… as it is I just shake it with milk or water. But the brand I buy has pretty good-tasting flavors so it ain’t too bad.
